Summary
Description
If you find yourself in a dilemma between supporting/sponsoring a well-known sport and a minority sport, then my discipline is for you. My name is Tabea, I am 19 years old and have been doing competitive sports in the disciplines of cross country and race walking for 5 years.
Race walking is part of athletics and is also an Olympic sport in which technique and speed are very important.
In order to be able to pursue my passion for sports, I have been attending a sports boarding school in Frankfurt since I was 15 years old.
I have been a DLV athlete for 3 years, which allowed me to win the German championship twice (3000m, 10000m walking) and become vice German champion four times (2x3000m walking, cross team, team championship). My greatest successes were taking part in the U20 European Team Championships in Podeprady (2023) and the U20 Team World Championships in Antalya (2024).
My goal this year is to achieve a top 20 placement at the U20 World Championships in Lima and to bring more attention and recognition to race walking in the next few years, because unfortunately race walking is not sufficiently supported, so that an athlete only gets paid a much to small amount by the DLV for clothing, travel, training camps and sports equipment.
I would be very happy about a cooperation with you, so that we can support each other in the best way possible. :)
